Hi! I know you haven’t seen much of me on the show lately. Since the summers are pretty much dedicated to the teen storylines, I decided to take a vacation. I just got back from a two week tour of China and Hong Kong and I must say it was fascinating! I will share photos from my trip in the next fan club newsletter, so keep an eye out!

Happy Summer! I hope you're all surviving this strange weather we're having. I'm thrilled to announce that "Brunch With the Quartermaines" (Report and Photos) was a huge success! I was so proud of my staff who put it together. I couldn't have a better posse, I must say! Chrissy and Krista even managed to surprise me, which isn't an easy thing to do. For those of you who attended, you know what I mean.

Hi Everyone! First off, regarding the fires you all have heard about in Los Feliz ... I just want to let you all know that Feather, Skipper and I are safe and sound. I was one block East of being evacuated. I did have my car packed with all my most prize possessions and I must say, that's a tough thing to do when you're under the gun. I was without power for almost 12 hours, so I was packing by flashlight, which was a little nervous-making.

Hi! The holidays are upon us! Speaking of the holidays, I am going to be riding my horse, “Romero” in the Rose Parade this year. This will be his first time ever in a parade, so we’re spending a lot of time practicing and getting use to riding around cars, balloons, crowds, etc. It’s been awhile since I’ve done the parade so I’m looking forward to it. It should be lots of fun.

Hi Everyone! I hope you’re having a wonderful summer. I’ve been spending my days riding my horse early in the morning, trying to beat the heat. I know California isn’t the only state having record heat waves! I guess we all are. In any event, I hope you’re staying cool!

Happy 2006 everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday. Mine was spent back home in Connecticuit. I had a great time sledding and seeing old friends. There's nothing like spending Christmas on the East Coast. I think it beats 80 degree weather on Christmas Day anytime!

Hi Everyone! It's hard to believe we are already heading toward the holiday season. It's especially difficult to fathom here in Los Angeles, when we are still having 80 degree weather! That is one of the things I miss about the East Coast, the seasons.
