First off, regarding the fires you all have heard about in Los Feliz ... I just want to let you all know that Feather, Skipper and I are safe and sound. I was one block East of being evacuated. I did have my car packed with all my most prize possessions and I must say, that's a tough thing to do when you're under the gun. I was without power for almost 12 hours, so I was packing by flashlight, which was a little nervous-making.

Thankfully, no homes were lost and that is due to the fantastic men and women of the Los Angeles Fire Department. They we're amazing! Sadly though, our beautiful Griffith Park trails took quite a beating, as did the wildlife up there. Coyotes were drinking out of my pool the next day, because their forest home was destroyed. As for the trails, it looks like Romero and I will be staying on the flat ground for a bit, since the trails were so badly burned. I just hope the lack of rain we had this winter doesn't make for an even more brutal summer.

On a brighter note, "Brunch With the Q's" is just around the corner! I'm happy to say we're sold out! I guess Chrissy and Krista have some surprises planned that even I don't know about. I'm looking forward to seeing many of you there. I just know it's going to be a good time.
