Hi!
I just got back from New York and the Daytime Emmys and must say, I am completely exhausted! Not only did I attend the Awards and after party, but managed to fit in three Broadway shows in four days! For those of you who get a chance to come to New York, I highly recommend you see one of the many amazing shows out there right now! I was able to see "Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolff," with Kathleen Turner and Bill Erwin, "The Pillowman" with Jeff Goldblum and was even able to get in to Monty Python's "Spamalot," with Hank Azaria and David Hyde Pierce, which is sold out until September! It was a bash and crash four days, but definitely worth it!
My congratulations to Natalia Livingston (Emily/GH), our wonderful team of Directors and to the show, of course, for winning best show. I'm happy to say, since "Monica" has had more to do lately, I felt more apart of it all this year, which is nice. I was however, discouraged that the network that aired the Emmys pulled the plug before the cast even made it on stage and Jill Phelps had a chance to speak. That was discouraging to all of us. However, the bright spot of the evening was hearing all of the cheers that GH got from those of you who attended the event. That was really great and believe me, it didn't go unnoticed by any of us. You guys are a great support and we are very lucky to have you!
Until next time!
