At the 2001 GH Fan Luncheon during GH Fan Club Weekend (July 29, 2001) the LCFC was voted "Favorite Offline Fan Club". Leslie said, "They awarded MY CLUB as the very best!!! Well deserved and my thanks to everyone who is responsible for making it so ... which means all of you who are members. And those of you who aren't, look what you're missing!" There are few actors who take such an active part in their fan club, and that's because of you, the fans! She loves you all!

From Krista: Thanks so much to all of you who voted. Leslie's personal input into the club makes it even more special and I can't think of anyone I'd rather honor than Leslie!!! She's simply the best and I love her with all my heart!!!

From Kay: I want to thank each of you that voted. I also want to thank Leslie who supports the club every way possible down to choosing the menu for the brunches. Without her participation and the fan support, nothing would be possible. It was such an honor to receive this award. Leslie is not only the best actress in the world, but a wonderful person and I couldn't think of representing anyone better. Thank you Leslie for the opportunity of assisting with the running of your fan club.
